Barmanou

The barmanou (or barmanu) is said to be a bipedal primate living in the mountainous region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The term Barmanu is used in several languages and is derived from the Sanskrit term Ban-Manus, meaning Man of the Forest. The Barmanu is supposed to possess both human and apelike characteristics and is said to abduct women and attempt mating with them

Ps: this was a scary shot.. Barmanou are really dangerous!!!

Congrats on the Trophy Dark, been an awesome month for you!

Congrats on bronze. I did recognize the creature from the Spiderwick Chronicles but, I suppose you're just testing the boundaries of what's acceptable to use, as someone else has created the creature but you altered it, hopefully sufficiently enough, to be passed off as your own original work (which I believe is the name of the game here). At the end of the day, it's the final result that counts and that's what brought the bronze. Congrats again.

Congrats Dark - a very effective piece of work :)

DerekBurns makes his point well. It's not stated in the rules for this contest that fantasy source material must not be used. "Real" Fantasy competitions (like Solipsism's brilliant HxH contests) may stipulate "Entrants should build any fantasy elements of their entry from scratch using non-fantasy sources". But here, it's just about how good the final image looks. Individual players will make their own choice about how creative they want to be when building their work. So again, congrats on a great result.
