Poor Tom Hanks looks a little miffed at the idea of someone taking a picture of him without his rug.

Okay... I can't see it... and I've tried looking from every angle possible, at every brightness setting...
It is perfectly possible though, I used for or five layers around the head and it's possible I left one of them visible by mistake...
Aww :(
Bummer...
Thanks for the heads up.
oh well EmmaMay - I can't see them either...
I like this image :) - May I please make suggest a couple of things which may have improved it further:
- it would be logical (and look nice) to have continued that lovely blue-reflected light on Tom's neck/jaw up onto his newly balded bonce.
- The outline of his bald head is not as crisp/sharp as the outline around the rest of his head
- the dome of his head looks, in my no-expert-on-Tom-Hanks opinion, a little too small.
Hope that is helpful - keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing more from you soon
Well, I'm glad it's not just me can't see them... However, as I said before, it is entirely possible they're there.
- To be honest, I never even noticed that light on the side of his jaw etc. What a shame :( I agree, it would have helped the transition.
- I deliberately blurred the edge of his head... it looked SO crisp it just looked... kinda stuck on... if that makes sense. I guess I blurred it a bit too much. My bad.
- His head should be about right. I (might have cheated, but it was the only way I could figure how achieve baldness) pasted a bald guy over Hanks, lined up the eyes, ears and chin and started merging. However, peoples heads are of course different sizes, so it's highly likely it may still be a bit small.
Oh well, first time at balding... plenty of tips for next go :D Wait 'til I get hold of a pic of my dad >.>
Thanks muchly,
EM
