"Nice, but why the swastika?" As it goes, the symbol we refer to as a swastika originated as the symbol for peace in certain religions, Hinduism and Buddhism are two big ones. Hitler took that symbol, flipped it, and rotated it 45 degrees. I guess he was sort of saying that they were going to shake peace or something along those lines.
