In need of a BRAIN WASH...
After an evening drinking WAY TOO much absinth, all that one needs is a good...
Many, many, many layers to give as much depth and dimension as possible.
Let me know what you think.

Looks very cool. Could you explain how you did it :)
That looks so cool. But what is the green thing? I just know I'm gonna feel stupid when I find out.
Maybe a source for the water would help. Just my thought, but still a nice job and very good "depth" to the the picture
Brain wash, or brain freeze? I'm not sure what effect you were going for here, but the top half looks like a brain encased in ice, and the bottom half looks like.... Well, to be honest, I don't know what the bottom half looks like. Green fog with lightning, perhaps?
But is Brainwash a pun?
O.K. everyone, this is the poop on this picture. The main source photo is of a drop of water dividing in two. The brain is in the water drop to be cleansed (since you have to use water to clean most anything) from too much drinking of absinth. Now the second real question is this... Does anyone out there know about the alcoholic drink "Absinth"? If not, it is a drink that was and still is mostly unavailable here in the States and is a VERY mind altering (Like acid). It is this VERY strange green color. So therefor the absinth is being washed out of the brain and down to the next drop of water. Whew!!! That took my breath away...
Could someone tell me how to download the source picture so that everyone can see what the final image started as?
To answer the question of how did I achvieve this...
Layers are your best friend, along with much color balancing and hand made shadows.
In this final picture the brain alone is composed of 8 different layers. The second drop containing the absinth is composed of 8 layers also, and the absinth and lightning in it is entirely hand-drawn. The rest of the picture has an additional 6 layers.
Now I'm going to start on another entry. See you all later.
