Funny - the coconut needs a -little- bit of blur.

Norrit said 6 years ago 3/27/2004 3:23:10 AM EDT

best idea!

Simple and intelligent. The only thing mising is motion blur. You still get a good score from me, though.

Probably the funniest one in this contest, and well chopped.

Can we die with a single coconut in the head?
Good Job ! ;)

heh...all these coments crack me up...especially Azureblue's one "Simple and intelligent" there are 2 major problem with this pic...1st that is NOT a coconut palm.... 2nd coconuts do not look like that unless they r in a supermarket...they grow with about 3cm of a fibercover around them...(dont know the name for it..) so basicly when there up in a tree...they dont look anything like that... oh and strange thot...in the news paper here awhile ago sumone did get hit by a coconut...and died... :o

the end..

quinlanking said 6 years ago 3/28/2004 11:03:04 AM EDT

Nice idea, however, the coconut on a tree is a lot different than what is displayed.

Kryptix said 6 years ago 3/28/2004 10:18:07 PM EDT

nice.

magdadaob said 6 years ago 3/29/2004 10:32:38 PM EDT

Beautiful concept, and deadly. Wrong palm tree, coconut has already been husked, but I still like it.

trigonman3 said 6 years ago 3/31/2004 7:30:35 PM EDT

With the logical inconsistencies brought up, I deduce that the unfortunate cameraperson was MURDERED! Someone must have contrived the situation where a peeled coconut was attached to the non-coconut-bearing tree!

Yeah! That's it!

WorthZeus said 6 years ago 4/2/2004 9:29:00 PM EDT

I like the fact that it's not blurred. Made me think for a second then I "got" it.

Dfewer said 4 years ago 12/5/2005 8:48:11 PM EDT

LOL yes. Anon00 is quite correct. I lived on Guam for three years. Neither the trees nor the coconuts look like that. Still, I'll recite one of my favorite statistics: "Falling coconuts kill an average of 150 people worldwide each year, 15 times the number of fatalities attributable to sharks."

Good picture though, believable to non-island people.
