Last sighted during Victorian-era England, Spring Heel'd Jack was for many years regarded as little more than folklore. However, the extraordinarily unbelievable high definition colour photograph (above) seems to provide startling and unequivocal evidence that Jack - is BACK!
The barmanou (or barmanu) is said to be a bipedal primate living in the mountainous region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The term Barmanu is used in several languages and is derived from the Sanskrit term Ban-Manus, meaning Man of the Forest. The Barmanu is supposed to possess both human and apelike characteristics and is said to abduct women and attempt mating with them
Ps: this was a scary shot.. Barmanou are really dangerous!!!
Overdid the halloween entries last month, so steered clear of "monsters" for this one... Since "Fairy" is on the Wikipedia list and mentioned in the competition rules, I went that route!

For all the time spent on this, I probably wasted the most on placing the out-of-focus fern right up front. Had to get the "Paparazzi hiding in the bushes" feel just right.
Talk about OCD... ha ha
The Grinning Man account. "He was standing behind that fence" along the turnpike, "a tall green man was dressed in a sparkling green coverall costume that shimmered and seemed to reflect the street lights." The most frightening and bizarre aspect of the encounter is the fact that "They could not remember seeing any hair, ears, or nose on this figure." Yikes!
