in 1836, after building The Rocket, George and Robert Stephenson built this prototype steam bike. However it did not go into production, as they both felt that it was ridiculous that people would ever travel around on less than 20 wheels and free of a track. It was discovered in an old abandoned workshop, in the north of England.
