Our apologies for the slowness!

Bad news - Worth1000 had a hard drive failure today. We're really sorry about the slowness. We're working around the clock to finish moving to a new server and bring it back up to normal speed. If you want to get in an image editing fix, we suggest trying out our sister site Aviary.com (or chiming in on the forums there).

Cinema Pygmalion 3

From the Canvas to the Silver Screen.
Contest ended 2 years ago 8/25/2008 EDT

Renaissance paintings were the blockbusters of their days. Inclusion in a great work of art meant fame and immortality for the subjects. But really, given the option, don't you think most of these subjects would prefer to be in motion pictures instead? Well, it doesn't matter what you think, because that's the premise we're going with in this contest!

In this contest, you are asked to take people or objects from famous works of art and include them in a scene from a familiar movie. Put that couple from "American Gothic" into "American Pie". Show "Mona Lisa" as Lara Croft. Maybe even put the guy from "The Scream" into "Scream".

As always, have fun, be creative!, follow the guidelines please, and be careful to avoid using cliches. You will have 48 hours to submit so make your entry count!

Hit List: Works by Norman Rockwell. Use them and get disqualified.
