Ready to forge lightning bolts to praise Zeus for his release, the Cyclops stares unblinking at the camera for a quick photo-op.

I had all of these elaborate plans to make a body to go with the head, and I just ran out of time!!!

Vote, don't just look, VOTE!!
oh, and leave comments pretty please?! I love to hear what you think, good or bad!

The Centaurs are half man, and half horse. Most are wild and savage, known for lustfulness and drunkenness. The exception is the Centaur Chiron who was the tutor for a number of famous Greek heroes (eg. Achilles). Chiron was the wisest and most just of all the Centaurs, and at his death Zeus placed him among the stars as the constellation Sagittarius.

...and as a reminder of his unquestionable power, the Minotaur hung up on the ruins the sun-bleached skulls of the lesser minotaurs who had tried to challenge him. And that is how it came to be known as Minotaur Monument...

As a Taurean born in the year of the Ox, I just had to do this =)

Fenrisúlfr has thrown off the Gleipnir chain - Ragnarök is upon the Æsir!!!

This is my favourite section of the Eddas, with Odin riding to battle Fenris even though he knows there's no way he can win.
I guess it's not Wednesday.
(If you get that joke I love you.)

(You can read all about Fenris here if you're not boned up on your Norse mythology. ;) )

These little hotties were created as a result from Uranus castration. Hmmm That still sounds kind of dirty. Nipples were removed to protect the innocent. Thanks for the look.

The Chimera was a creature born from the monsters Typhon and Echidna in Greek mythology. It had the head and body of a lion, head of a goat, head of a dragon, tail of a serpent, wings to fly, and had the ability to spit fire. The Chimera was often a sign of shifts in nature, including weather changes and volcanic eruptions.

Zeus, transforming into a swan to seduce Leda, wife of the Spartan king Tyndareus

Poseidon sent a dolphin to bring Amphitrite to him when she refused to be his wife. She married him and became Goddess of the Sea.
The dolphin was rewarded by being put in heaven as a star. Ahhh.
