The Centaurs are half man, and half horse. Most are wild and savage, known for lustfulness and drunkenness. The exception is the Centaur Chiron who was the tutor for a number of famous Greek heroes (eg. Achilles). Chiron was the wisest and most just of all the Centaurs, and at his death Zeus placed him among the stars as the constellation Sagittarius.
Fenrisúlfr has thrown off the Gleipnir chain - Ragnarök is upon the Æsir!!!
This is my favourite section of the Eddas, with Odin riding to battle Fenris even though he knows there's no way he can win.

The Chimera was a creature born from the monsters Typhon and Echidna in Greek mythology. It had the head and body of a lion, head of a goat, head of a dragon, tail of a serpent, wings to fly, and had the ability to spit fire. The Chimera was often a sign of shifts in nature, including weather changes and volcanic eruptions.
